https://mns-research.nl/ http://uva.nl/

2017-12-08 KLM, Schiphol-Rijk, 13h00 - 17h30.

Abstract:

The workshop will take place on December 8, 2017 in the afternoon (13:00 - 17:30) at KLM ICT, Tupolevlaan 2 Schiphol-Rijk. For participants from businesses and science it will be a well spent afternoon where new cyber security and distributed systems concepts are introduced and can be discussed among peers.

The workshop introduces recent results of the project SARNET "Security Autonomous Response NETwork", headed by University of Amsterdam and with participation of TNO, Ciena Networks and Air France - KLM. The results are discussed, interpreted and extrapolated to a situation beyond the scope of the project.

About SARNET: the project investigates how threat detection and automated, adaptive, protection concepts can benefit from software defined infrastructure technologies (e.g. SDN / NFV). Part of this research considers what it would need to organize a SARNET as an alliance of collaborating service providers and enterprise networks.
